Why Golf Vibes?

The name 'Golf Vibes' is derived from the terms 'bad vibes' and 'good vibes' that are often used in the analysis of golf and golfers.

This site has been set-up as a showcase for some of the articles I have written and as entertainment for golfers and friends in Thailand (and around the world). Sharing my passion for the game and listening to others views is something that I have always enjoyed from the 19th hole and beyond.

The forums have been started as a place to have intelligent and entertaining discussion on all current or old issues in the golf world. They are also a mouthpiece for the golf boom in Thailand among Thai's, tours and Expats.

About me

I am a freelance writer with a passion / addiction for playing golf. Originally from the south of England, I now live with my wife and our daughter in the North of Thailand.

As a keen 32 year old amateur golfer, I feel I have a fresh perspective on the game compared to the sometimes stuffy views of the traditional golfing community.

I am currently working as financial editor for a daily internet publication and also have part-time work as a freelance writer and website designer. My writing experience includes travel and golf course reviews for various websites.
